Drawing on hundreds of hours of local material from the past thirty years, the film explores themes of loss, community, hope and defiance as the residents of Ballymun watch their familiar landscape and way of living vanish over the course of two decades. The film shows Ballymun's iconic high-rise landscape as a space of togetherness, hope, and community activism, but also as a site of anguish and despair.
When Patrick Sawyer, a Liberian-American collapses upon arrival at the Murtala Mohammed International airport in Lagos, Nigeria. he is taken to Fiest Consultants Hospital, where he is admitted with fever like symptoms. Over 3rd of London's music venues have been closed in recent years and no one noticed. An active movement to bring a halt to this disaster has begun to unfold with one organisation after another emerging to fight for Soho. Organisations made up of citizens and celebrities have sprung up to combat this onslaught. Will they win this battle and save Soho?
